| The September 24th dinner in Waltham brought in $72,000.00 thanks to
the generosity of friends of special needs children who paid $500 to attend
the special dinner at one of the Boston area's top five restaurants-Il
Capriccio. An anonymous donor doubled the amount raised….so the one
evening brought in $144,000.00. In addition, Wednesday's Child board member
John Collins announced a three year grant from Bank of America of $50,000
a year to add to the total for the dinner. Collins, along with dear friends
Rick Curtin and Joe Dempsey, paid for the entire cost of the evening,
so all donations given were fully tax deductible. |
