Dear Jack and Marci,

First of all, both of you are to be applauded and commended for all of your wonderful work over the past 27 years with Wednesday’s Child and all the grateful children you have helped to have a better life.

As the 2008 winners of the Volvo XC90, my wife, Mary, and I are still in a state of shock, amazement and joy at our good luck this past Saturday by having our number drawn. Since we were both sick this past weekend and didn’t go back to work until this morning, Scott Grady of Volvo Cars of North American was not able to contact us until today. When we did finally connect with each other, I was totally amazed by the news!! (I have never won anything in the past.) Mary and I have been a Volvo couple since 1978 and the XC-90 has been our “dream car” since its introduction by Volvo. Scott seemed very pleased by our happy reaction and our past dedication to the Volvo brand. We look forward to working with him as we secure our “dream car” thanks to Wednesday’s Child.

We hope to be able to offer our support to you for many years to come, and wish you continued success as you help more and more special needs children.
