The skiing conditions were the best in years and everything
went very well for the 25th annual Ski
Race for Wednesday's Child at Waterville Valley, N.H.

Hundreds of racers in all skill levels took part, to raise
money for special needs adoptions. This year's race was held
on Saturday, March 14th.
For 25 years, friends of Wednesday's Child have gathered in
the White Mountains for a day of skiing, followed by food
and fun at the Waterville Valley Conference Center.
This year's event brought in over $435,000 for special needs
adoption, the 3rd largest amount to be raised ever. The Jack
Williams Wednesday's Child foundation expects to clear about
$410,000. Last year's race and reception raised $390,000 for
special needs adoption.
Many thanks go to Waterville Valley Ski Resort, Volvo, Wendy's,
WBZ4, American Airlines, Yankee Magazine and all of our hard
working volunteers.
