When preferred customers showed up to the
annual sale at Yale Appliance & Lighting, they were told
that a portion of any purchase that day would go to benefit
Wednesday's Child. True to their word, Steve Sheinkopf and
the great people of Yale Appliance & Lighting sent $10,000
to the Jack Williams Endowment for Wednesday's Child, a 501
(c) (3) charity.
They also announced that Wednesday's Child would be the
beneficiary of funds
raised next February 26th in a hockey game between the Yale
Burners and the
Bruins Black and Gold Legends at Walter Brown Arena, with
special guests the
Hanson brothers of Slap Shot fame. The Stanley Cup also
will be on display.
