Jack Williams Ski Race for Wednesday's Child
After 28 years Jack and Marci say thanks for all the races, but last year’s 2012 was the final one. They are downsizing and decided against another race.
In April, Jack and Marci will be inducted into the Waterville Valley Hall of Fame.
For almost three decades WBZ gathered for the annual Wednesday's Child Ski Race at Waterville Valley Ski Area in
New Hampshire. We had many successful years raising money for special needs adoption. Richard Ng of Milton MA was last year's Volvo winner.

to helping find homes for special needs children who are without families.|

2013 Ruthie Antonides Volunteer Award recipient was Bob Stone of New York, formerly of WBZ, who has travelled to Waterville to volunteer for the ski race for years. Dave Thomas Memorial Award Winners
Wendy's has raised millions over the years to
help Wednesday's Child. Massachusetts and New Hampshire Wendy's locations hold
a six week promotion for Wednesday's Child beginning in mid-January when coupon
books are sold for one dollar and the money going to Wednesday's Child.
